The large, openwork Madonna and Child medal is a Solid Bronze recast of an antique from Spain, dated 1693 by the original craftsman. Large prayer beads are 10mm Rhodochrosite gemstone and small prayer beads are 8mm Rose Quartz gemstone.
All items are handmade by an American artisan with quality materials--each piece is a work of art.
Strung prayer beads are made with state-of-the-art beading cable. The cable is actually 49 strands of nylon-coated stainless steel wire with 28-35 pound test strength, but it remains extremely flexible--it drapes, bends and folds like silk cord.
Crucifixes and crosses are hand cast by American metalsmiths from antique and vintage pieces in sterling silver and solid bronze then antiqued to restore the original patina.
